International Women’s Day: Mo Seetubim

What’s your greatest accomplishment?

Probably launching this beautiful brand and making it global. It was always my childhood dream to have my own inspirational stationery brand that is loved worldwide. I didn’t expect to grow it on a global scale this quickly, but the market gave me the signal, so I had to take a leap of faith and decide to sell it worldwide. It’s been a steep learning curve… I’m enjoying every moment of it.

What advice do you have for a future generation of female leaders and trailblazers?

Believe in yourself. Don’t let any self-doubt enter your mind, because what you think about drives your subconscious mind and affects everything you do. If you find yourself surrounded by other voices of doubt and disbelief, try to change your environment and only surround yourself with people who are going to lift you higher. Find your tribe. Become the master of your own mind. Learn to be your own cheerleader. It might take a while until all of these things become habits, but it’s worth it, because once it becomes a part of who you are, you’ll feel like the world is your oyster.

What does female empowerment mean to you?

Female empowerment, to me, means women empowering women to become their best selves. And to use their power and feminine energy to make the world a better place.
