I have a love affair with food, whether it is a delicious medium rare steak to a fresh bowl of raw fruits and veggies, I can eat anything. My body craves what it wants, and boy do I feed it. Of course, I do this all with moderation and sometimes I eat certain foods to give me energy. Enter tofu, juicing and yoga 10 years later.
I grew up eating pretty heavy meals loaded with carbs and meat that was definitely bigger than the size of my palm. Thankfully, I was very active when I was younger. The meals that I ate were burned off from 4 hour gymnastics practices. Nowadays, if I eat anywhere like I did back then, I’ll be asleep within 20 minutes.
Enter my three favorite things that I eat or do on the daily to sustain my energy and to power me through the day. Tofu, juicing and yoga.
Benefits of Tofu:
- Lowers cholesterol
- Great source of calcium
- Packed with vitamin E
- Source of protein
- Low in saturated fat

- Great way to get your nutrients in
- Vitamins and minerals help boost immunity and fight stresses in the body
- Mental relaxer
