Finding Balance: a Yoga Workshop with Two Fit Moms

This past weekend, I co-hosted a “Finding Balance” yoga workshop with my business partner, Laura.  Together, Laura and I run a yoga and wellness company called Two Fit Moms.

The workshop, which was structured to accommodate all levels of experience, was a huge success!  Sixty yogis assembled at the North Jersey Muay Thai gym to practice, learn and collaborate.

We began with a few words on the topic of finding balance (both on and off the yoga mat) and continued to teach a well-rounded flow to loosen up the body and engage the core.

Over the course of two hours, we explored a variety of standing balance poses, arm balances and inversions.  There were so many students who experienced balance breakthroughs that day! Some were able to get into all of the poses, some only one, and some none at all, but everyone tried their best. It was an amazing group and an amazing day!

Thank you to all of the yogis in attendance, and thank you, Fabletics, for providing water bottles and headbands for each participant!

Masumi Goldman enjoys exercising in the comfort of her New Jersey home. She loves doing short interval training DVDs that combine cardiovascular routines and weight training. She teaches and practices yoga, and especially loves a sweat-inducing flow class with arm balances and inversions.

Would love to have a workshop! What do I need to do to host one?
