A Note from Kate: Enjoying 35

by

It’s a really great feeling when you’re able to say that you’re both living and achieving your goals, and I’m proud to say that I’ve finally reached that point. I’ve started to realize that life really is about being in the moment, slowing down, and just enjoying every second. I’ve blogged about the five-year plan before, and how important it is to set forward-thinking goals, but right now, I’m focusing on staying in the moment, doing work that I love, and enjoying life.  My mom and I have been planning on taking a trip to celebrate my 35th birthday, and I’m really looking forward to spending some quality, one-on-one time with her.

But before I do, I’m going to sneak in a quick trip to Palm Springs to see my fiancé’s band play at Coachella. Anyone else with spring birthdays out there? How will you be celebrating this year?

I’ll be 31 in May – to celebrate I joined a gym to find a happy and healthy me. My daughters bday is literally the day after mine so my celebrating and partying will be all for her. Happy birthday Kate and enjoy your momma.

Happy Birthday Kate! Glad to see you & your family are doing so well & enjoying life right now!
I wish I was going to Coachella, so have fun, especially watching that certain favorite band 😉
We are leaving on a cruise in a few days, so I’ve been pushing my workout routine a little more for the past few weeks- extra miles & drills. Not quite sure if I’m in my best bikini shape, but too late to worry now. Caribbean here I come!

I just turned 50 and can’t believe it. It seems like just yesterday I was in high school. I know what you mean about living in the moment. It has takin me this long to realize that.
