One thing you might not know about me is that I am a die-hard soccer fan and I’ve always been obsessed with the World Cup. I love watching the matches and cheering on the U.S.A! The tournament always rekindles my own love for soccer, which started at an early age. Growing up, soccer was my sport. I was very serious about soccer and even considered pursuing it after high school. (We all know how that turned out!) I still play whenever I get the chance, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that my kids grow to love it as much as I do.
There’s no better total body workout than soccer because you’re getting a great cardio workout. Soccer is also one of the best activities for fat burning, because you are constantly alternating between low-intensity and high-intensity cardio intervals. It’s such a fun way to get outdoors and exercise with friends or family. People of all ages and skill levels can play, and all you need is a ball and a yard or a park!
