[tps_title]Lavender Salt Scrub[/tps_title]
Lavender is calming, promotes restful sleep, soothes dry skin, and helps treat acne, among other things. It’s wonderful to have a jar of lavender scrub handy to help unwind after a busy or stressful day.

You’ll need:

  • (1) 12 ounce jar
  • spoon
  • medium sized glass mixing bowl
  • 3-4 ounces of coconut oil
  • 6 ounces coarse sea salt
  • 10-15 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 1 tablespoon of dried lavender (optional)

In a medium glass bowl, mix your coarse sea salt and coconut oil. Add 10-15 drops of lavender essential oil and 1 tablespoon of dried lavender. Mix once again and spoon into your jar.

To use: Once in the shower, pat the mixture on your body and gently massage.  Focus on dry areas such as your hands, feet, knees, and elbows. To use on your face, massage gently while avoiding the eye area. Rinse off with warm water.
