SNACK TIME: A PROTEIN-PACKED TRAIL MIX RECIPE

[tps_header]When I need a quick burst of protein-infused energy, I always opt for trail mix! I make my own special recipe weekly so I always have a bag on-hand for work, hiking, and climbing adventures. I love to make my own to avoid the high sugar content found in many pre-made brands. The recipe below is easy, guilt-free, and tasty…in other words, you’ll love it!.[/tps_header]

What you’ll need:
2 cups whole almonds
2 cups Cashews
1 ½ cups Dark Chocolate Nibs (buy these in small chunks or break apart your favorite dark chocolate)
1 cup unsweetened dried banana chips
1 cup unsweetened dried cranberries
1 cup of your favorite vegan granola
A dash of sea salt for flavor
What to do: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and store in an air-tight container. Enjoy!
