What’s it like to run your own business?
QT Fitness opened its doors July of 2013, since then I have been living my dream! I have always wanted to open a fitness studio to help others feel empowered through fitness.

What’s a day in your life like?
My day begins at 5:15am and ends at 7:30pm. Within that timeframe, I help clients achieve their personal best, I connect with other local businesses to cross market, and create new and challenging fitness routines, so that my clients continually feel better and stronger!

What advice do you have for others who want to start a business?
My advice to anyone who wants to open their own fitness studio is that it is hard work! Building a business and a brand takes time, you have to have a strong support system, strong work ethic, and be able think outside the box.

What keeps you motivated?
I am motivated by clients telling me how strong they have become and when I see a clients’ confidence grow when doing an exercise they couldn’t do before. It’s also rewarding when others understand my objective, to create a safe and fun environment with challenging workouts, motivating instructors, and great customer service.

What are your goals?
My goal for QT Fitness is to be the Pacific Palisades local studio for our community. We believe in supporting the community that we reside in, we host fundraisers for local schools, organizations, and charities. We believe in giving back and helping those that are helping us stay open and successful. I also see us opening up other locations, but keeping the spirit the same, small class sizes, fabulous instruction, and wonderful customer service.
