Maintain Your Fit-Physique All Year Round

[tps_header]With the end of summer and pumpkin flavored everything surrounding you, it’s easy to start losing focus and slip back into those not-so-great lifestyle choices. But, before you do, stop. You’ve worked so hard these last few months – why not make it last? Below are tips on how to maintain your figure all year round.[/tps_header]

[tps_title]The Eats[/tps_title]

80% of how you look and feel comes down to what you’re putting in your body. Nutrition is key:

+ Hydrate: Drink half your body weight in ounces

My go-to beverages are lemon water throughout the day, and ZICO coconut water during my workouts. When you’re hydrated, you won’t be aimlessly snacking throughout the day and you’ll feel energized all day long.

+ Eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are essential, and so are snacks! I love a Kind Bar and fruit treat mid-morning, and hummus and veggies for that mid-day crunch attack.

+ Eat your greens!

Vegetables are so important to have throughout the day. They fill you up and give your body all the nutrients it needs.

+ Lean proteins

Pairing lean proteins like chicken, ground turkey or fish with vegetables is the best way to stay slim through the cold nights ahead. Making a bowl of turkey chili or salmon and asparagus is a great way to warm up without adding to your waistline..

This is a really great post with wonderful tips to stay healthy all year long! It’s a good reminder as we settle into snuggly autumn to still be mindful of treating your body well. I just wish it wasn’t framed as a way to keep your bikini body. Everyone should have the right to feel confident about their bodies and wear what they want no matter what they look like.

The post was all about adopting some great habits, but what a bummer to have it be titled and framed to only value some types of bodies.

I love this blog (and Fabletics in general) so I hope you all will stay more body-positive like in your other posts.
