A Do-Anywhere Body Weight Workout

[tps_header] As we enter into the New Year, many of us will be making resolutions and setting new fitness goals. And, even with the best intentions, a lot of us will have a hard time following through. Not everyone will be able to afford a gym or a personal trainer to help stay on track, but what if I told you that you really don’t need either? There are hundreds of amazing exercises you can do from home without purchasing any equipment! Utilizing your own body weight can be one of the most effective ways to workout and transform your body. Everyone you ask will have a different opinion about what you should be doing, but, in reality, it really just depends on what your overall goals are. If you are looking to lose some extra fat, strengthen your body and feel great, Circuit Training is going to be your best friend. With Circuit Training, you get a mix of cardio, strength and resistance training, and stretching all in one short workout.

Circuit training has been around for a long time, but lately, I have been hearing more and more people talking about it. I’m sure many of you, like me, get bored of the elliptical, lifting weights, and attending classes. Having to move quickly from one exercise to the next makes Circuit Training the answer to your boredom prayers. There is no time to think about anything besides your dripping sweat! You can burn up to 10 calories a minute, boost your fat burning metabolism and sculpt up your muscles. It’s also perfect for those of you who can barely squeeze in a workout. The whole goal of circuit training is to move as quickly as you can with 30-90 second breaks in between each exercise.
