[tps_title] SLACKLINING [/tps_title]
Looking for something new and challenging to give your body a boost? Slacklining is on the cutting edge of the fitness community and is ideal for balance, core engagement, and cross training. Plus, it’s just plain fun!
What is slacklining?
Slacklining is a balance activity where you can walk, do yoga and perform tricks on webbing tensioned between two anchor points. The activity improves balance, coordination, and strengthens stabilizers throughout your body. There are many forms of slacklining, depending on your goals: walking, yogalining, longlining, tricklining and highlining.
How do I start?
Your first time slacklining will be the most frustrating. Be patient with yourself and the learning process and always remember that the more time spent on the line, the more progress you will see. Once you feel comfortable walking on your line, you can experiment with other exercises, such as lunges, squats, arm balances, yoga poses, or dynamic tricks.
