Jamie’s approach to fitness revolves around a bodyweight-based routine that can be done anytime, anywhere. Check out her favorite animal-inspired moves, including the Inchworm Dip, the Stork Squat, the Donkey Kick, and the Seal Plank. Let’s break that down for you:
Spread your legs apart and bend down, touching your hands to the floor. Walk your arms out, palm by palm, until you reach an upward dog position. Lift your butt into the air, and then walk your hand back to the original position. Repeat! This move works out your abs, your obliques, and your triceps!
Stand straight with one leg crossed over at your knee. Bring your arms out and up, while simultaneously bringing your butt out into a squat. Bring your arms down and your butt in, resuming your starting position. Repeat! You’ll be toning your thighs, working your core, and improving on your balance in no time!
Drop to the floor and get into table top position. Spring your body up from your feet, and kick your legs once they reach above your butt. As you come down, land back on your feet, and then your knees. Repeat! This workout may seem challenging, but once you master it, it’s great for strengthening your core.
Get into a plank position, with your hands at your elbows. Twist your body to one side, reaching your free arm up (but don’t stretch it out), and kicking your leg up (like scissors). Return to your starting position, and work the other side. Blasting out a set of these will tone your abs and your obliques!
