Warmer weather means we can get off the treadmill, out of the gym, and into the sunshine! Let’s freshen up our stale winter workouts and head outside to move ourselves into summer shape! We’ll dive into some of the benefits of working out in the fresh air; we’ll provide quick tips for taking your workout outdoors; and then we’ll finish up with one of my very favorite full-body workouts that can be done anywhere- and should definitely be done outside!
There are endless upsides to working out outside. Here are a few:
Enjoy the weather, get Vitamin D from sunshine (just make sure to wear your SPF!), explore a new neighborhood, park, or trail, meet up with pals and enjoy the outdoors together, avoid crowded gyms, get off the hamster wheel (aka the treadmill), and try new workouts.
