How to Wear: Fall Outerwear

Even though it’s still hovering around 90° here in Southern California, the rest of the country is starting to experience the crisp cooldown that comes with fall. One of the reasons why we can’t wait for temps to drop in our neck of the woods is the chance to start layering up our looks every day—sweaters, scarves, cardigans and, of course, outerwear! This season, we launched an amazing collection that we want to wear for (literally) every occasion. So while we wait for a chilly day on the West Coast, here’s how (and where) we’re dreaming of wearing it all:

What: A quilted, fully lined vest with a hidden hood in the collar.
How: With our Isabella top, Barcelona legging, boots and a backpack.
Where: A fall hiking trip.
Why: To keep you comfy (and dry) no matter where the trail takes you.

What: A heavy-duty, water-resistant coat with detachable faux fur collar.
How: With our Anya top, Madeline legging, boots and a simple tote.
Where: Hayrides, corn mazes and Halloween outings.
Why: To warm up every fall festivity (especially the scary ones).

What: A stand-collar fleece jacket with geometric faux leather paneling.
How: With our Khloe long-sleeve top and classic Salar legging—both in black.
Where: Running errands or grabbing coffee.
Why: To add some edge to your everyday.

What: A lightweight water- and wind-resistant jacket (in a textured tonal print).
How: With our Isabella top, Barcelona legging, boots or easy sneakers.
Where: A trip to somewhere with an uncertain climate.
Why: To have you covered come rain or shine (or lots and lots of rain).

What: A semi-cropped puffer with ribbed and quilted detailing.
How: With our Jamie mini-dress, high socks and all-weather boots.
Where: A weekend getaway with friends.
Why: To be ready for any event (and environment).

What: The long-sleeve version of our quilted Sedona puffer vest.
How: With a sports bra, Erin Tank, Brogan mesh legging, sneakers and Flex gym bag.
Where: A high-performance workout.
Why: To throw on after (or even during) a sweat session.

What: A sweat-wicking compression jacket with reflective trim.
How: With vibrant pop-color leggings, black sneakers and a backpack.
Where: On an outdoor run.
Why: To keep you warm (and safe) while you’re pounding the pavement.

Thank you for dressing up a woman that has the same ratios/measurements as our nation’s current average for women. I’ve always loved Fabletics, but this effort to show the clothes on someone more similar to my body size is a huge help. I would have never thought that olive long sleeve with cute cut outs would look good on me. Assumed they would look stretched on someone bigger than the website model.

Thanks ladies – that’s me! You guys are sweet! Everything is a size Large. The tanks are XL because I like them baggy. I love it all! I’m 5’8″ if that helps… Usually wear 10-12.

I love the playfulness of the video. No negativity to it. I am a short plus size woman most things are not built for my body type at all. I like the ideas.
