Forget the Turkey Bowl, the day after Thanksgiving (aka Black Friday) is a shopper’s most important sporting event of the year! Thankfully, you’ve got us in your corner to prepare you for the big day. We’ve rounded up some helpful tips on how to win the battle that is Black Friday. Let’s take a look at this years’ game plan:
1. WALK THE WALK
Your legs are your most important tool for tackling Black Friday. Treat them well by covering them in the most comfortable, easy-to-move in fabric. Any of our performance bottoms will do the trick. Another helpful hint—leggings are great for quickly trying on clothes without worrying about compromising fit.
2. BRING A BAG
This sporting event is all about the hands, so opting for a cross-body is your best move. All you need is your cash, card and keys (and maybe a walkie talkie to connect to your teammates).
3. REMEMBER TO REFUEL
A long day of exertion calls for replenishment with plenty of hydration and snacks. Pack a bag of almonds and an electrolyte-filled drink to keep you in the game. No food court timeouts allowed!
4. TEAM UP
Grab a friend or two because it’s all about strength in numbers. Have one friend wait in the checkout line to speed along the process. If you’re the designated shopper, make sure to take your friend’s list with you so she/he doesn’t miss out on the deals.
5. DO YOUR HOMEWORK
Before the big day is here, make sure to do your research. Most big companies advertise their holiday promotions and some of their hot items beforehand. Having items in mind will increase your chances of making them yours!
6. MAP IT OUT
Just like a coach would do, map out your moves whether you’re at the mall or a popular shopping area. Prioritize which stores are the most important to you, which have the best sales and which ones get the biggest crowd.
Good luck! And remember to check back for the best Black Friday deals right here.
