The Web page can make this more obvious and not automatically subscribe you. They scam loads of people with this.
I just called customer service about this, you are right. My 13 year old made a purchase, when I checked her bank account she had been charged $49.95 every month since September. FIRST, they should NOT accept orders from minors, SECOND a bigger effort needs to be made to make clear that this is a subscription service.

It's a scam! I've been emailing them for days trying to get my account cancelled they have charged me for two months and refuse to refund me or at the very least ensure I have the credits for the two months i have been charged on my account!! Terrible customer service they just keep emailing back with the same rehersed lines and not acknowledging anything I say in my email! I have asked several times for my account to be cancelled and not once has anyone even acknowledged my request.
They had a huge 75% off sale plus 50% off everything else on the entire website last week. They also normally do big sales around labor day and memorial day

Why can we not cancel on the web? I'll tell you why because they want to hold you hostage. If you call to cancel you get an automated system who won't actually cancel no matter what you say. She transfers you to a rep where no one ever answers. I eventually hung up. I'm not going to continue to skip every month as I just figured out that the credit card in my profile is no longer valid anyway. If I don't skip and you attempt to bill me it won't go through. If I receive any shipments I'll consider them a gift. Worst experience ever
