Ever wonder how the A-listers of LA, New York and London—think Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Naomi Watts and our very own Kate Hudson—get their tip-top, toned-to-perfection bodies? Well, you can thank celebrity trainer and fitness revolutionary Simone De La Rue of Body by Simone.

An Aussie native who now lives between LA and New York, Simone essentially came into the world feet-first in dancing shoes! With a passion for dance such as jazz, tap and ballet, her gift for movement led her to Broadway as a young adult, where—because of the grueling schedule and hours of practice—she noticed a lot of her co-stars falling victim to injuries. With a budding interest in Pilates and Yoga, she began to create routines and warm-ups to prevent her body from damage. Her unique perspective segued into a personal training career, where she found a love for helping others. Not only did Simone notice her clients’ bodies improving, but she witnessed shifts in their emotional health as well. This revelation is what launched her “ultimate girl program,” which is now known as Body by Simone!


While Simone’s studio and workout program is inspired by dance, it isn’t exclusive to dancers—everyone can benefit from the BBS routine and lifestyle. With seemingly boundless energy and an infectiously positive personality, Simone has a knack for breaking down each move step-by-step for a more approachable practice that suits all ages and abilities. Her ultimate goal is to watch women come out feeling more empowered, in body, mind, and spirit, while picking up a few cool dance moves along the way. That’s why Simone has gained a serious cult following become a go-to for some of the biggest (and fittest) stars around.
